Originally formed as two separate companies, Quantum Gas Services in 1999 and Quantum Power Services in 2001, the companies merged in 2002 and subsequently changed the name to Quantum Gas & Power Services, Ltd. to better reflect the company's involvement in multiple facets of the energy industry. The company is self-funded with no outside investors.
